My name is Toneylynn and i’m the owner and creative force behind Darling Daydream. I’m a proud cat mom, lefty and Hand Lettering Artist. I specialize in Live Events and Brand Activations for beauty and wellness related brands in the Los Angeles area. Using methods like glass engraving, pyrography, and calligraphy I spread kindness and positivity one letter at a time. My goal is to help you create highly photographed personalized touches that you and your guests will appreciate long after the event has passed.
My calligraphy journey started in October 2015 when I took my very first Modern Calligraphy workshop with Julia Mattox of Luminous Lines. At the time I was working as a performer on a cruise ship and I was looking for a creative hobby that would be easy to travel with. Little did I know this fun hobby of mine would turn into so much more.
Pretty soon calligraphy became something I would do when I needed to get away from the stress of work. Every time I would practice, I always chose to write inspirational quotes that I needed to hear, and before I knew it my walls (and the walls of my friends) were covered with all of my practice sheets.
To this day, calligraphy is still something that brings me so much joy.
